Boaters and boating fans, head to the bayfront on December 8th and December 15th for the 48th Annual San Diego Bay Parade of Lights! Around 100,000 spectators watch 80 boats festively decorated cruise the San Diego bay. This year’s theme, COMIC-CON!

The parade will start at 5:00 p.m. and will follow the predetermined parade route.
Here is a list of the best times to view the parade from various San Diego locations:

• Shelter Island (start of parade)   5:00 p.m.
• Harbor Island                                   5:30 p.m.
• The Embarcadero                            6:00 p.m.
• Seaport Village                                 6:30 p.m.
• The Pier at Cesar Chavez Park    6:45 p.m.
• Ferry Landing on Coronado          7:00 p.m.
