The 400DC-X dual-console – the initial model introduction of the 400 Series – has an LOA of 39’ 8” and a wide beam of 12’ 8”, and boasts over 200 square feet of usable deck space in the dual console version alone. The model utilizes the catamaran advantage in large outboard sponsons and ample deck space for anything from cruising to light fishing configurations.
Behind the sliding glass windshield enclosure, the U-lounge in the salon seats 8 with multiple configurations thanks to the power backrests. You can sit back and watch the drop-down television over the starboard entertainment center, reconfigure the lounge for running open waters, or just watch the kids play off the large aft deck with 38” wide swim platforms and dive ladder.
Additional standard features include an integrated hardtop with sun roof and electric aft cockpit shade; double wide helm and companion seats; helm area with room for two optional 17” Garmin 8617 screens; an entertainment center with a drawer refrigerator, aft facing seat with insulated cooler storage underneath, storage drawers, helm air conditioning vents, and a tilt out trash can; pull-out hot and cold aft deck shower wand; and rod and cup holders throughout, just to name a few.
The 400DC-X is powered by Yamaha’s new 425 horsepower outboards, so there are no motor wells to navigate around on the 30 square foot aft deck. The model also has a 464 gallon fuel capacity giving it massive range capabilities, and a 8 kW Fischer Panda generator with 24 gallon diesel fuel tank. You also have the option of adding a Seakeeper Gyro Stabilizer to your custom order.
